EUGENE, Ore. – On the strengths of their efforts at the season-opening Rainbow Wahine Classic, Mimi Colyer and Karson Bacon are the Pac-12 Offensive and Defensive players of the week. The Ducks swept their way through the weekend with wins over then-No. 13 San Diego, Northwestern and Hawai'i.
Oregon is up three spots to No. 6 in Monday's release of the AVCA top-25 rankings. The team continues its non-conference schedule at the San Diego State Invitational (Aug. 31-Sept. 2).
Colyer averaged 6.33 points per set on the way to being named MVP of the Rainbow Wahine Classic.
